The average temperature in Russia has increased 2.8 times globally over the past 44 years.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with forest fires in various regions of the planet.

"I have already talked about it, and experts are well aware that the average temperature in the Russian Federation is rising faster than on a global scale," said the Kremlin leader.
