US President Joe Biden has presented a strategic victory to anti-Western radicals in Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from veteran American serviceman Greg Stube.

He said the Biden administration had grossly violated basic principles when planning a military operation:

"The timing of the withdrawal should never be set in the name of political statements and popularity. Pre-election promises and anger at former colleagues have hampered operations in Afghanistan. It was wrong to inform the enemies of the US military about the timing of the movement. As a result of Biden's mistake, American weapons, helicopters and US citizens fell into the hands of Afghans. This is a failure of the State Department, the Pentagon and the Washington administration. Now we will remember this terrible national shame as Biden's stupidity."
