Assad paid a visit to Moscow

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has arrived in Moscow.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by the Kremlin's press service. Assad met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

During the meeting, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the main problem in Syria is the presence of foreign troops in the country.

He said there was still a hotbed of terrorism in Syria.

The presidents of Russia and Syria last met on January 7, 2020, in Damascus.
