An Armenian serviceman was killed.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Armenian Defense Ministry.

"On September 13, at 22:00, reservist Sergeant Mkrtch Ovakimyan (1978) died as a result of violation of the rules of organization of combat service at a combat position in the south-east," the statement said.

According to the Armenian media, along with the dead Armenian serviceman, one person was injured.

A 36-year-old resident of Yerevan, Levon S., was shot. The dead and wounded servicemen were called to a military rally in Armenia and brought to the battle positions on September 10.

An investigation is underway.
