Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Ibrahim Raisi had a telephone conversation.

Axar.az reports that during the telephone conversation, the leaders exchanged views on the upcoming meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Dushanbe.

The sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Russian-Iranian relations in various fields.

The leaders agreed to continue contacts.
