Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's non-participation in yesterday's meeting of CSTO foreign ministers is being seriously discussed in the Armenian segment of social networks.

Axar.az reports that according to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Mirzoyan did not go to Dushanbe due to a technical problem on the plane. This statement was met with ridicule on social networks.

Graparak wrote that Mirzoyan did not attend the meeting in Dushanbe because he met with European officials in Yerevan. On the same day, the Armenian Foreign Minister met with his Slovak counterpart Ivan Korchok, French Co-Chair of the Minsk Group Stephane Visconti and Deputy Director of the Continental Europe Department of the French Foreign Ministry Sylvain Guiaugue.

The meeting of the CSTO foreign ministers will last until September 17. The Armenian Foreign Ministry said that the malfunction in Mirzoyan's plane was "eliminated" and he left for the meeting today.
