Strong earthquake in China: 100 injured

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake shook the city of Luzhou in China's Sichuan province.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the China Earthquake Network Center.

The incident was recorded at a depth of 10 km.

The quake killed three people and injured 60 others. More than 700 houses were damaged.

Search and rescue operations are underway.

The number of people affected by the earthquake in China's Sichuan province has risen to 100.

The disaster also destroyed 1,400 buildings and severely damaged 6,400. More than 70,000 people were evacuated from the quake zone.
