Russia's reaction to Baku and Ankara's training

We have stated our position on the joint exercises of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the Caspian Sea to official Baku.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

"Russia's position on this issue has been brought to the attention of official Baku. Given that this is met with understanding by our Azerbaijani partners, I refuse to comment to the public. We are in touch with the Azerbaijani side," the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said.
