The United States and Pfizer are in talks to buy 500 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine to donate to countries in need.
Axar.az reports that the contract between the Biden administration and the German company BioNTech, which produces the vaccine Pfizer, may be signed in the coming days.
The agreement must be announced before the COVID-19 summit on September 22.
It is noted that the 500 million doses of vaccine will be distributed among countries in need through the COVAX mechanism.
