The US has closed the Armenian foil market

The United States has imposed high tariffs on foil imports from Armenia.

Axar.az reports this information was spread on the website of the US International Trade Administration.

According to the report, the duty on foil imported from Armenia is 29.11%.

In September last year, the US Department of Commerce opened a case against the import of foil from five countries: Armenia, Russia, Brazil, Turkey and Oman. The reason is the complaint of American factory owners. They said that products from these countries were sold at unreasonably low prices and created problems for local production.
