Axar.az reports that the statement came from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in response to a statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry that it did not recognize the elections in Crimea and considered Crimea to be Ukrainian territory.
"The issue of Crimea (with Ankara) is a topic on which our views are completely different. We regret Turkey's position, but we hope that over time, respecting the reality and the real situation, the political will be shown on this issue, and Turkey will change this position," Peskov said.
