Important steps have been taken in terms of stability in the Caucasus.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech at the UN.

"Azerbaijan has used its right to legal protection to end the occupation of its lands by implementing UN Security Council resolutions that have not been implemented for years. Windows have opened for new opportunities for lasting peace in the Caucasus. We are determined to support all positive steps," Erdogan said.
