Is France renouncing its status in the UN SC?

Paris does not intend to relinquish its status in the UN Security Council.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the French Presidential Administration.

"France has not offered to resign from the UN Security Council. This place belongs to France and will remain its, ”he said.

Earlier, the Daily Telegraph announced that France intends to give its place in the UN Security Council to the EU.
