Erdogan: A road will be built from Igdir to Azerbaijan

If Mr. Volodymyr Putin had not fully revealed his qualities as a statesman, there would be no way from Azerbaijan to Turkey.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in an interview with Turkish journalists in the United States.

"Because Putin has fully and decisively demonstrated his qualities as a statesman, we have had a positive opportunity to enter our territory. We are currently working hard in Azerbaijan. For example, Mr. President Ilham Aliyev speaks and meets with Putin at any time and in any form. We can establish contacts and hold talks," Erdogan said.

The Turkish President noted that a road will be built from Igdir to Azerbaijan:

"This includes railways. The construction of this road will be a very important step."
