Armenians asked for help, Iran immediately took action

Iranian rescuers assisted their Armenian counterparts in extinguishing forest fires in Mehri district.

Axar.az reports that Mehri customs office appealed to the customs office of the East Azerbaijan province of Iran to help put out forest fires.

"The Iranian fire service immediately responded to the request of the Armenian side and sent a team to the scene. "Iranian firefighters assisted their Armenian counterparts in extinguishing the fire," the statement said.
