If I am lucky, my bilateral meeting with Mr. Volodymyr Putin in Sochi on September 29 is really important.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a statement to US media.
He noted that during the visit there will be no extended meeting with the participation of delegations of the two countries:
"We will just have a bilateral meeting with Mr. Putin. Of course, these will not be just talks on Idlib. We will also discuss Turkish-Russian relations and the situation in Syria."
Erdogan added that an important decision will be made in Turkish-Russian relations:
"Turkey and Russia are two important countries in the region. We have not seen any mistakes in relations with Russia so far. Looking at the volume of trade between the two countries, it is very positive and constantly evolving. We sometimes face difficulties with Syria. And with the steps we have taken, our defense and foreign ministers, we can immediately defuse the tension."
