A representative of South Ossetia met with the Taliban

Afghan Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar met with the representative of the so-called South Ossetia Alexei Maksimov.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Taliban spokesman Mohammad Naeem.

The situation in Afghanistan and regional security issues were discussed at the meeting.

It should be noted that Maksimov is the head of the Moscow office of the head of the so-called South Ossetian Foreign Intelligence Service.
