We must bring sanctions to a devastating level - Coates

The United States must severely punish those who come to the aid of the Nord Stream-2 pipeline.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Victoria Coates, former Deputy National Security Adviser to the US President.

According to her, sanctions for any support for the gas pipeline should be brought to a destructive level:

"The United States must help Europe to develop green energy and fight nuclear power. Europe needs to diversify its natural gas sources and import less gas from Russia".
