The German Social Democrats, led by Olaf Scholz, are leading in the Bundestag (parliamentary) elections with 26 percent of the vote.
Axar.az reports that according to preliminary exit polls broadcast on ZDF, the German Conservative Party (Angela Merkel's bloc), led by Armin Lashet, is in second place with 24 percent of the vote. The Green Union Party, led by Annalena Berbok, came in third with 14.4 percent of the vote. The "left" also enters parliament with 5 percent of the vote.
Preliminary official results will be announced on the night of Sunday, September 27, and the final results will be published in about two weeks.
