Russia's development of advanced weapons systems is a mandatory step in response to US steps.

Axar.az informs that the statement came from Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Konstantin Vorontsov.

"Global nuclear weapons and other actions that threaten strategic stability must be comprehensively discussed in the framework of the Russia-US strategic dialogue. A long-term and mutually acceptable way must be found to form a new security equation in line with modern realities," Vorontsov said.
