Yerevan hopes to sign an agreement with Iran on the establishment of the Persian Gulf-Black Sea transport corridor in the near future.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

"The process is quite dynamic. I hope that in the near future we will sign an agreement on this project," he said.

It should be noted that Iran is trying to implement this project, which it calls the "Caucasian Corridor" as an alternative to the Zangazur corridor.
