Turkey: Russia did not comply, we will enter ourselves

Russia and the United States have failed to meet their commitments to clear Kurdish forces in northern Syria.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavushoghlu.

"Recently, we are seeing an increase in PKK / YPG attacks. Terrorists are firing on our territories at a distance of 30 kilometres. We had an agreement with Russia and the United States that they would clear the terrorists within 30 kilometres. But they did not keep their word. What should we do? We must solve our own problems. We are ready to clear these areas of terrorists for our own security," he said.
