CIS intelligence agencies are closely monitoring the Taliban's actions.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Sergei Naryshkin, director of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service.

"We continue to closely monitor the activities of the new government and exchange information with our colleagues from the CIS countries," Naryshkin said.
