The US wants to deploy forces in Uzbekistan

Pentagon officials will discuss the deployment of US anti-terrorist forces in Uzbekistan this month.

Axar.az informs this was reported by Politico.

"The deployment of anti-terrorist forces may be on the agenda of the talks. Such an agreement would allow the United States to better track and target its targets in Afghanistan,” the article said.

The Biden administration has said it wants to discuss the issue with Afghanistan's border countries.
