Putin talked about the processes in Karabakh

The Russian peacekeeping contingent is the guarantor of peace in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian leader Vladimir Putin at an online meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State.

"Humanitarian cargo is being transported with our participation, both on the territory of Azerbaijan and Armenia are being cleared of mines, the system of life is being restored, medical services are being provided to the population, tens of thousands - more than 52,000 refugees (Armenians are meant - ed.) .) returned," Putin said.

Commenting on the views of President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Nicole Pashkina on Karabakh and Russian peacekeepers, Putin said:

"It reaffirms Russia's wisdom that even a bad peace is better than a good war."
