Ukraine's membership in NATO is a negative scenario.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian President's Spokesman Dmitry Peskov. He said Ukraine's membership in NATO was a red line in Russia's national interests.

"Ukraine's membership in NATO is a bad scenario. This scenario is a red line in Russia's national interests. This scenario could force Russia to take active measures to ensure its security."
