Turkey could become a regional superpower if it buys the Russian Su-57s.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko, commenting on the US F-16 offer to Turkey.

According to him, Washington disrespects Ankara with this proposal:

Korotchenko says Ankara's best response to such US steps would be to get a Su-57:

"The Su-57 is better than the F-35. The F-35 is lighter and the Su-57 is heavier. With the Su-57, Turkey can become a superpower that will overtake all European countries. From a military and political point of view, it will definitely have a say on a global scale."
