Statement from Russia: Tensions between Azerbaijan-Iran...

Russia is in favor of reducing tensions on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border through political and diplomatic means.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova during a briefing.

"We are in favor of reducing tensions on the border between Azerbaijan and Iran. We are confident that all problems between the two neighboring countries should be resolved only through political and diplomatic means.

According to him, Moscow is making efforts to restore all economic and communication routes in the South Caucasus."
