Putin spoke about Karabakh: There are incidents...

The leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia showed political wisdom and prevented bloodshed in Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian President Vladimir Putin in his speech at the Valday Forum.

He said that today it is necessary to prepare the conditions for a long-term settlement:

"This is possible only if both countries appreciate the benefits of peaceful coexistence. Then transport routes and economic ties will be restored in the region. This will ensure the security of both Azerbaijan and Armenia. "

The Russian leader said that the situation in Karabakh can be maintained for the time being, although it does not pass without an index:

"Of course, it is difficult to present an ideal picture after many years of confrontation."
