A terrible explosion at a factory in Russia killed 17

A powerful explosion occurred at the Elastik synthetic fibre plant in Russia's Ryazan region.

Axar.az reports that as a result of the explosion, 17 people were killed. Rescuers found the bodies of 15 people.

According to the report, there were 17 workers in the gunpowder shop where the explosion took place. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said the explosion was caused by a violation of the technological process.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
