Armenia increases defence budget

The Armenian government intends to increase the defence budget by 11% in 2022.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

He said defence spending would be $ 720 million.

Pashinyan said he intends to create a professional army.
