Pashinyan: We are not developing the army for occupation

Armenia will develop its army not for aggression, but for defence against aggression.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech in parliament.

"Armenia has no plans to occupy foreign territories. From the point of view of the development of security systems, it is important not only to modernize the army but also to create a favourable external environment, to implement the agenda of opening an epoch of peace for Armenia, Karabakh and the region," he said.
