The quarantine regime is being tightened in Kiev

Quarantine measures will be tightened from November 1 due to the aggravation of the situation with the coronavirus pandemic in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko during a briefing.

He said that from that date, only citizens who have been vaccinated or have a negative test result will be able to go to work, public places and use public transport.

At the same time, cafes, restaurants, shopping malls and gyms will continue to operate only if all employees are fully vaccinated.

The work of schools and universities will continue in a remote format.

Over the past week, coronavirus deaths in Ukraine have increased by 36 percent.
