Armenia recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan and Armenia mutually recognized their territorial integrity within the CIS in 1991.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in response to a question from Sputnik during a live broadcast on Facebook.

He said that demarcation and delimitation, Karabakh, communication lines are issues that require separate methodological discussion:

"The leadership of Armenia and Azerbaijan recognized each other's territorial integrity in 1991, according to CIS documents. Does this mean that there is no Karabakh problem?”
