Russia has strengthened its position - Garibashvili

We must all agree that the security landscape and the current situation in the region have changed since the Karabakh war.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in an interview with Channel One's "Independent View" program.

According to him, Georgia is closely watching the strengthening of Russia's position in the region and the change in the balance of power after the Karabakh war.

The Prime Minister noted that today Russia has strengthened its position in the region:

“Russia has almost covered the region. We understand this very well, especially because 20 percent of our territory is occupied by Russia, and this fact is often forgotten by our friends and partners."
