Armenia asked us to be a mediator - Zakharova

Yes, Armenia has asked Russia for help to mediate between Yerevan and Ankara.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

"Russia is interested in this process and is making efforts to normalize Armenian-Turkish relations. Our country is ready to provide any assistance in this regard in the future. We believe that the start of this process will undoubtedly contribute to improving the overall situation in the region," Zakharova said.
