The first local engine with 1,500 horsepower was launched

In 2022, armoured vehicles will be delivered for the first time with local engines.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Turkish presidential aide Fuad Ogtay.

"In 2022, the supply of Hisar O + infrared-guided missiles will be completed, and the supply of Sungur portable low-altitude air defence missile, Akya combat torpedo, MAM-T and Atmaca will begin. "Our first 1,500-horsepower Batu engine was successfully ignited and tested," Oktay said.
