There was a strong earthquake in the Mediterranean

A magnitude 4.4 earthquake shook the coast of the island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea.

Axar.az reports the statement came from the Turkish Emergency Management Agency (AFAD).

The quake was reported at a depth of about 6.15 kilometers.
