Meeting of the Turkish Supreme Advisory Council was held

The next meeting of the Supreme Advisory Council (SAC) of the Presidential Administration was held under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az reports that the current meeting of the NAC is dedicated to Turkey's accession to the Paris Climate Agreement.

A statement issued at the meeting said that Turkey is in talks with the "Green Reconciliation Action Plan" announced in the framework of compliance with the European Green Consensus, which includes the European Union's 2050 goals. Within the framework of the National Declaration of 2053 of the 26th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP-26), assessments are carried out on the basis of the principles envisaged to be implemented from 2018 in the "Green Harmony Action Plan".

The statement also said that the fight against climate change has affected all spheres of life, adding that Turkey will continue to be in the process if it cooperates with the international community in this area and will manage the process with a common understanding between its development goals and human society sensitivity.
