A representative of the Pope died of a coronavirus

Pope Francis' envoy to the European Union (EU) Aldo Cordano has died of a coronavirus.

Axar.az reports that Cordano, 68, died in Brussels.

He is thought to have contracted the coronavirus during the Pope's visits to Hungary and Slovakia. He was not vaccinated.
