Russia and India gave up the dollar

Russia and India have renounced the dollar in mutual payments when concluding arms deals, all payments being made in rubles and rupees.

The statement came from Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev.

"Traditionally, we use dollars in all contracts for convenience. In reality, Rosoboronexport has withdrawn from settlements in American currency. As for India, all mutual settlements are made in rubles and rupees, "Mikheyev said.
