That's why Biden sent me to Moscow

The United States has been witnessing an unusual gathering of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border in recent weeks.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) William Burns in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

The CIA chief said US President Joe Biden had sent him to Moscow in November to convey the White House's serious concerns about Ukraine directly to the Russian government.

Burns also said Biden spoke with key US allies on Monday to discuss the situation.
