A parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova will visit Istanbul, Turkey on December 8 to attend the 16th conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Axar.az reports the delegation includes MP Jeyhun Mammadov, head of the parliament’s administration Safa Mirzayev, and other officials.

The Azerbaijani Speaker is expected to address the 16th conference of the OIC PU. The speaker will also meet with the heads of delegations participating in the event. The meetings will focus on the future development of cooperation within the organization, the deepening of inter-parliamentary relations, and other issues of mutual interest.

The visit will end on December 11.
