We plan to send troops to Eastern Europe - the US

The White House plans to send troops to Eastern Europe if the situation in Ukraine escalates.

Axar.az reports the statement came from White House spokesman Jen Psaki.

"If you look at 2014, many NATO partners have asked for support, increased military presence or the deployment of additional rotational troops. If Russia decides to enter Ukraine, this opportunity is on the table," Psaki said.
