The Eastern Partnership is no longer strong - Chizhov

The Eastern Partnership no longer has a "cementing" power.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Russia's Permanent Representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov.

"I can say that it was quite difficult to agree on the final document of the Eastern Partnership summit. And it is clear that the Eastern Partnership is no longer a strengthening force for the countries in the spotlight," Chizhov said.

The Eastern Partnership summit was held in Brussels on December 15. A final statement was adopted at the end of the event.
