If Crimea had not joined Russia in 2014, the Ukrainian fascists would have invaded.

Axar.az the statement came from Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu.

"Thank God, in 2014, under the leadership of our President, we were able to maintain peace in Crimea," Shoigu said.
