Newly appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Alizadeh held a meeting with the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi.

According to the Radio Pakistan, the sides discussed bilateral relations and international issues.

During the conversation, special representative for Pakistan stressed the importance of fraternal relations with Azerbaijan. S.T.Fatemi assured the ambassador that he would make every effort to strengthen bilateral relations.

Besides this, S.T.Fatemi noted the importance of having direct flights between the two countries to strengthen relations between the peoples.

The meeting also discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
