Protesters try to penetrateTokayev's residence

Several thousand protesters try to break into the residence of President Gasim Jomart Tokayev in Almaty.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Kazakh media.

"Some of the protesters left the crowd near the mayor's office and went to the presidential residence. Everything around is smoky, grenades exploding and gunfire can be heard," the statement said.

It should be noted that the protests against the increase in gas tariffs in Kazakhstan have been going on for two days.
