As a country with deep-rooted ethnic, religious and historical brotherhood with Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan reaffirms the importance of respecting Kazakhstan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at an emergency meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States in Kazakhstan.

"Azerbaijan is committed to further deepening these relations, which will significantly contribute not only to the benefit of our states and peoples but also to security, stability and cooperation in the region and beyond," he said.
