Russia will not make any concessions - Ambassador

Russia will not make any concessions in security talks with the United States and NATO.

Axar.az informs that the statement came from Russian Ambassador to Britain Andrei Kelin.

"It has been clearly stated that we will not make any concessions, this is our principled position," Kelin told Russian media.

He said that Russia was offered to discuss a number of issues related to security in Europe:

"Undoubtedly, each of them is important - arms control, a ban on the deployment of medium and short-range missiles in Europe, transparency and confidence-building. If we discuss all this together, then we must get a clear legal guarantee that our main and principled demand is that NATO will not expand."
